The challenge

A Netsuite Functional Consultant is in charge of review, analyze and evaluate business systems of company and user needs, in order to explain this requirement to a Developer. Define scope and objectives and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies.

• Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
• Define and share Netsuite good practices for the IT teams
• Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
• Designs new computer systems and applications by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
• Improves systems by studying current practices; designing modifications 
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Provides visibility to the business and centralized IT team for ongoing IT initiatives

Essentials

• Minimum 3 years experience in software development

• Extensive experience of working as a software developer in an agile environment

• Working experience with NodeJS, ExpressJS

• Working experience with MongoDB, SQL

• Working experience with distributed systems

• Working experience with microservices, Kubernetes is a plus

• Ability to write unit tests, integration tests

• Good understanding of object oriented and/or event driven design

• Good product mindset and  communication. English proficiency is a plus

• Team player and pragmatic developer
